After Djurgarden and Hammarby drew in the Stockholm Derby, the points were also shared in the Gothenburg Derby between Goteborg and GAIS, while Vasteras earned their second win since promotion, beating Brommapojkarna.

Goteborg 2-2 GAIS

Two Gothenburg clubs who finished the 2025 season strongly are still without a league win in 2026, after Goteborg took the lead then came from behind in their home game against GAIS.

The hosts had the lead at half-time thanks to Rockson Yeboah, who executed a superb bicycle kick after GAIS failed to clear a free-kick into the box, 25 minutes in.

But two goals in six minutes soon after the hour mark turned the game around - Max Andersson picked out the bottom corner after his attempted pass was knocked back to him, then GAIS went ahead when William Milovanovic curled the ball into the top corner from inside the area.

However, the Mackerels' lead lasted only three minutes -  Adam Bergmark-Wiberg laid the ball back for Kruse, who powered the ball low from 25 yards out to rescue a point for Goteborg, their third draw in a row, while it's back-to-back stalemates for GAIS.

Brommapojkarna 1-2 Vasteras

After beating fellow newly-promoted side Kalmar on matchday one, Vasteras have their first win against an established Allsvenskan side, beating Brommapojkarna 2-1 on the road, as the hosts failed to build on their first win last time out.

The visitors made a perfect start just three minutes in when Ismet Lushaku's cross from the right was glanced in by Philip Bonde, but BP needed only four minutes to hit back, as Oliver Berg sent a 25-yard screamer into the top corner.

Just before the hour mark, Vasteras scored what turned out to be the winner by returning to the tried and tested method - this time Lushaku's cross was from the left, but Bonde was on point again to pick out the far post with his header.

Vasteras find themselves in fifth place on eight points, with the Bromma Boys a further three points and five places back.
