In an official statement, the Spanish club assured that it has not had any contact, direct or indirect, with the player, his representatives, or anyone in his close circle.
"In light of the information published in various media outlets regarding an alleged interest of our club in Bayern Munich player Michael Olise, Real Madrid C. F. wishes to clarify that it has not had any direct or indirect contact with the aforementioned footballer, his representatives, or individuals in his circle," the statement read.
The Madrid club also took the opportunity to highlight the "excellent institutional relationship" it maintains with Bayern Munich, expressing regret over the dissemination of information that, according to the club, does not reflect reality.
Real Madrid emphasised that the relationship between the two clubs has been built on trust, mutual respect, and collaboration, stating that any potential interest in a player should first be communicated to the respective employer.
"Both clubs have always maintained a relationship based on trust and mutual respect," the Spanish club reiterated, highlighting the principles of "institutional loyalty" that have historically defined the connection between Real Madrid and Bayern.
Michael Olise, 24, has been mentioned as a possible target for Real Madrid to strengthen their attack, but the Spanish capital club denies having taken any steps in that direction.
