According to The Athletic, the group, led by billionaire Dan Friedkin, is open to a sale having already sought external investment.
TFG are happy to hold on to Everton for as long is takes for them to find the right owner and are convinced they can take the Toffees to the next level.
TFG completed a takeover of Everton in December 2024, which ended a turbulent spell under Farhad Moshiri's ownership.
The group also owns Italian side Roma and French club AS Cannes.
