We’ve got a blockbuster Friday to look forward to, with Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev in quarter-final action at the Paris Masters, while Leylah Fernandez, Victoria Mboko and Donna Vekic are among the standout names involved at WTA events in Hong Kong, Chennai and Jiujiang.

00:04 CET - Bring on the semis! With the world number one spot, a place in the ATP Finals and the smaller matters of a Masters 1000 title all at stake, the stage is set for a thrilling final few days in Paris.

We'll be back in the morning to bring you coverage of the semi-finals, so join us then!

23:20 CET - Alexander Zverev survives! The world number three and reigning champion has ended a five-match losing streak against Daniil Medvedev in dramatic fashion, saving two match points before ultimately prevailing 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (5).

The German's reward is a semi-final meeting with Sinner, who beat him in the Vienna final last week, while Medvedev can no longer qualify for the ATP Finals.

20:35 CET - Jannik Sinner has moved a step closer to returning to the top of the rankings, with the Italian beating Ben Shelton without too much trouble, prevailing 6-3, 6-3 in just over an hour.

18:27 CET - The mercurial Alexander Bublik is through to his first-ever Masters 1000 semi-final after coming from a set down to outlast sixth seed Alex de Minaur 6-7(5), 6-4, 7-5 in a thrilling contest in Paris.

17:10 CET - Thailand's Lanlana Tararudee has sailed into the Chennai semi-finals after an emphatic 6-0, 6-2 triumph over Polina Iatcenko in just 76 minutes.

Check out the semi-final draw in Chennai here.

15:36 CET - Felix Auger-Aliassime is the first man into the semi-finals of the Paris Masters after beating in-form Valentin Vacherot, and quite comfortably, too. The Canadian won the match 6-2, 6-2 in under 90 minutes.

In the second quarter-final in the French capital, Alexander Bublik takes on Alex de Minaur - follow that clash here.

Over in Chennai, third seed Donna Vekic has been knocked out by Kimberly Birrell, 6-4, 6-0, who moves into the final four there.

14:40 CET  - Second seed Leylah Fernandez has set up an all-Canadian semi-final in Hong Kong against Victoria Mboko, after beating Sorana Cirstea 6-4, 6-4 in the last of the quarter-finals.

Catch up on the scores and check out the semi-final draw in Hong Kong here.

14:36 CET - Janice Tjen has progressed to the semi-finals in Chennai after a convincing 6-3, 6-1 victory against Mia Pohankova.

13:31 CET - The first match of the day in Paris features two of the stars of the final stage of the season, with surprise sensation Valentin Vacherot taking on Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Having won the Shanghai Masters, Vacherot has now won 10 Masters 1000 matches in a row, enjoying a run of form that we usually only see from the world's best, not someone who had picked up just one win on the ATP Tour before it.

Auger-Aliassime, meanwhile, has won nine of his last 10 across all tournaments. As a result of that form, the Canadian still has a shot of qualifying for the ATP Finals, but only if he wins today.

12:50 CET - Rising star Victoria Mboko is through to the semi-finals in Hong Kong after her opponent Anna Kalinskaya was forced to retire with an injury, while trailing 6-1, 3-1.

Meanwhile, in Chennai, Joanna Garland is the first woman to seal her spot in the final four, thanks to a 6-2, 7-6(2) victory over Arina Rodionova.

12:07 CET - Anna Blinkova has completed the semi-final lineup in Jiujiang, with the Russian battling past Alycia Parks in two competitive sets, 7-5, 7-5.

10:54 CET - Fifth seed Maya Joint is through to the last four in Hong Kong after a topsy-turvy 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 win over Japan's Himeno Sakatsume.

09:35 CET - Dominika Salkova has progressed to the semi-finals in Jiujiang, with the Czech player proving too strong for Zhuoxuan Bai in a relatively routine 6-3, 6-4 victory.

07:58 CET - Some unfortunate news from Hong Kong this morning as top seed Belinda Bencic has withdrawn from her quarter-final clash against Cristina Bucsa due to injury.

The Spaniard advances to the last four, where she'll face either Maya Joint or Himeno Sakatsume.

Meanwhile, in Jiujiang, Viktorija Golubic and Lilli Tagger have moved into the semi-finals after straight-set victories over Yulia Putintseva and Tamara Korpatsch, respectively.

07:39 CET - It's a star-studded day of action at the prestigious Paris Masters, with world number two Jannik Sinner facing Ben Shelton at 19:00 CET, before defending champion Alexander Zverev comes up against Daniil Medvedev.

Play gets underway in the French capital at 14:00 CET, as ATP Finals hopeful Felix Auger-Aliassime takes on the in-form Valentin Vacherot.

Elsewhere, Leylah Fernandez and Victoria Mboko play their quarter-final matches in Hong Kong, while there are plenty of intriguing clashes to look out for in Chennai and Jiujiang, too.

07:20 CET - Good morning and welcome to our coverage of today’s blockbuster schedule of tennis!
