Bafana Bafana opponents South Korea have laid out their preparation plans for the 2026 World Cup, which include a camp in Salt Lake City in the United States.

Bafana take on the South Koreans in their final fixture in Guadalajara on June 24, which is also where South Korea will camp during the tournament.

But before that, they will stay in Salt Lake City, chosen by coach Hong Myung-Bo because the conditions are said to be similar to Guadalajara, with an altitude in the region of 5,000 feet.

Myung-Bo will name his final squad on May 16, which will give Bafana coach Hugo Broos plenty of time to mull it over. He is only likely to name his final squad nine or 10 days later.

South Korea leave for the United States on May 18 and hope to have two friendlies while in camp. They will move to Guadalajara on June 5, a week before their opening game of the tournament against the Czech Republic in Zapopan on June 11.

They meet Mexico in Zapopan on June 18, before the clash with Bafana.
