Jacob Friis has named a 25-man squad for Finland's two remaining fixtures in Group C1, away in Tirana against Albania on 12th November before hosting San Marino on 15th November.
Having begun with a 7-0 demolition of San Marino, Huuhkajat scored just twice over the next three matches, neither of which came from open play, and now sit third in the group. However, even defeat against Albania will not end their promotion hopes, regardless of Belarus' result against San Marino.
Poor link-up play between the midfield and attack was often cited as the issue for Finland during the previous window, and they will hope the additions of Anderlecht's Antman and Kaiserslautern's Skytta will provide the missing links this time.
Magdeburg midfielder Luka Hyrylainen will have the opportunity to make his senior debut, while Inter Turku centre-back Robert Ivanov and Aris Thessaloniki midfielder Fredrik Jensen have returned to the squad both have the chance to earn their first caps of 2026 after a recall.
