Goalkeeper

Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) - 7.5

Aston Villa's Argentina international Emiliano Martinez came up big in their 1-0 derby win over rock-bottom Wolves.

Martinez made four stops in the match, with his best coming against Yerson Mosquera and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.

Defenders

Kenny Tete (Fulham) - 8.4

Kenny Tete put in the work down Fulham's right-hand flank as the Cottagers escaped from Tottenham with a first away win of the season.

Tete's deflected strike handed Fulham an early advantage, but it was his defensive work which was commendable.

He won 11 duels, four tackles and made eight clearances to help the visitors stop Tottenham's pushback in the second half.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle) - 8.8

Malick Thiaw started and ended the scoring in Newcastle's 4-1 rout of Everton in a dominant individual display away from home.

The German scored two fine headers, with his first after just 55 seconds being the fastest Premier League goal of the season.

Thiaw was resolute defensively too, winning seven duels and making five clearances.

Maxim De Cuyper (Brighton) - 8.8

Belgium's Maxim De Cuyper enjoyed a freer role as his attacking quality shone in Brighton's 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest.

De Cuyper opened the scoring by placing a confident right-footed shot into the net and created two big chances for his teammates.

Midfielders

Bertrand Traore (Sunderland) - 8.3

Bertrand Traore scored his first Sunderland goal to help the Black Cats overturn a deficit in their 3-2 turnaround against Bournemouth.

His near-post strike right at the start of the second half drew Sunderland level, which provided the springboard for them to eventually pursue the victory.

Dango Ouattara (Brentford) - 8.6

Brentford's record signing Dango Ouattara was a constant thorn in Burnley's side as he helped the Bees over the line to record a 3-1 victory at home.

The Burkina Faso international won the penalty for Brentford's opener late in the second half and scored the all-important insurance tally with a clinical finish.

Lewis Miley (Newcastle) - 8.4

Nineteen-year-old Lewis Miley took full advantage of a rare Newcastle start to power the Magpies past Everton.

Miley's pinpoint corner onto the head of Thiaw got Newcastle off to a fast start before he netted himself, with his low drive squirming through Jordan Pickford.

Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) - 8.2

Bruno Fernandes looked right at his best as he assisted United's two goals in their comeback over Palace.

Both efforts came from free-kicks, the first clipped in towards Joshua Zirkzee and the second quickly played into Mason Mount.

Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) - 8.3

Cody Gakpo stepped up when Liverpool needed him with a goal and an assist on their travels to West Ham.

The Dutchman teed up Alexander Isak's first Premier League goal for the Reds, before netting himself with a ruthless finish inside the box.

Forwards

Phil Foden (Manchester City) - 8.2

Phil Foden was the saviour for Pep Guardiola's City with two goals as they managed to snatch three points against Leeds.

Foden's instinctive finish inside one minute got City going, and his second was more than worthy of being the match-winner.

He lashed in a low strike into the corner to get City out of jail after initially blowing a two-goal lead.

Igor Thiago (Brentford) - 8.1

After just 13 games, Brazilian striker Igor Thiago hit the 10-goal mark with two strikes in their win over Burnley.

He converted a penalty to give the Bees the lead on 81 minutes, then brilliantly found the net again five minutes later to restore the advantage after Burnley's instant equaliser.
