During the weekend Bodo/Glimt put up 480 tickets for sale for the return leg of their European League semi-final against Tottenham but they could have sold 50.000 judging from the number of football fans who queued up in the hope of getting a ticket.

With a capacity of 8,200 at Aspmyra Stadium and 4,600 season ticket holders, it doesn't make sense that only 480 tickets were put up for sale.

But around 1000 tickets were already snapped up by UEFA. In addition, over 600 tickets are intended for media while a further 200 have been set aside for Tottenham to distribute among stakeholders.

The remaining tickets are still being held back, but Simen Pedersen, who is the media manager in Bodo/Glimt, tells the Norwegian media outlet NRK that they will release more tickets as we get closer to the match date.

"We believe that there will be seats left, but we don't dare say how many", says Simen who is confident that won't be a seat left in the stands when the game kicks off.

"There won't be a single empty seat unless someone gets sick. I can guarantee that. If there are empty seats, they will be sold before the game starts. There's no doubt about that", he says.

For the quarter-final match against Lazio, the last released UEFA tickets went on sale just a few hours before the start of the match.

2,000 tickets have so far been sold for Tottenham supporters who have been awarded just over 3,000 tickets for that match.
