Robin van Persie's Feyenoord closed out their Eredivisie season with a routine 2-0 win over PEC Zwolle, who held on for 79 minutes but caved after Anis Hadj Moussa's smart brace.

Feyenoord manager Robin van Persie handed Raheem Sterling his first start since April 5th, while Shaqueel van Persie, Robin's son, returned to the matchday squad

The meaningless match between PEC Zwolle, who were already safe, and Feyenoord, who'd locked down a second-place finish, saw the latter have the best start, with Tobias van den Elshout and Luciano Valente each testing Duke Verduijn early.

More danger from Feyenoord followed, with Casper Tengstedt close to giving Robin van Persie's side the lead, but it was PEC's top scorer, Koen Kostons, who got the biggest chance of scoring the opener after escaping Feyenoord's defence. The one-on-one with Timon Wellenreuther was won by the German stopper, keeping the score level.

Following a one-sided half in which Tengstedt missed a massive chance, Anis Hadj Moussa broke the deadlock with ten minutes to go, burying the ball in Verduijn's goal.

The Algerian winger repeated his trick less than ten minutes later, doubling Feyenoord's lead in the dying seconds with a powerful shot that flew in via the post.

Feyenoord closed out the game with a 2-0 win and will go on holiday in the knowledge that they will appear in the League Phase of next season's UEFA Champions League.
