Cole Palmer is about to make his 100th appearance for Chelsea in the Champions League match against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old, who arrived from Manchester City three seasons ago, has quickly established himself as one of the club's most influential players.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, the Englishman has been directly involved in almost a third of Chelsea's goals since his debut, contributing 44 goals and 28 assists.

In total, the playmaker has played 99 of the 115 possible matches during this period - a participation rate of 86 per cent - with 72 contributions to goals, accounting for almost 30 per cent of the team's 242 goals.

Stamford Bridge's leader in goals and assists

His influence surpasses that of his closest teammates, such as striker Nicolas Jackson, who made 41 contributions before leaving for Bayern Munich, Enzo Fernandez with 38, Noni Madueke with 25 and Christopher Nkunku with 23. The latter two left for Arsenal and Milan, respectively.

When analysing goals scored alone, Palmer has also topped the charts since his debut for Chelsea.

His 44 goals are well ahead of Jackson's 29, Nkunku's 18, Madueke's 18 and Fernandez's 17.

The figures highlight his consistency and importance in a team that has undergone significant squad changes during his time at Stamford Bridge.

In addition to his statistics, Palmer stands out in the most important moments.

The Englishman played a key role in Chelsea's triumphs in the Club World Cup and the Conference League, with decisive performances in the run-up to both trophies.

Reaching the 100-game mark in just three seasons reflects not only his quality but also the trust he has earned from successive managers.

For Chelsea, the midfielder has become much more than a rising star - he is the heart of the team's attack.
