Bassitt, 36, spent the past three seasons as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays. He tossed a 3.96 earned run average with 166 strikeouts in 170.1 innings through 32 games (31 starts).
The veteran starter was money for the Blue Jays during their recent Postseason run, giving up just one run on three hits through eight innings of relief with 10 strikeouts.
In his 11 years, Bassitt has only finished a full season with an ERA above 4.00 once (2024) and has played in a full season every year since 2021, making him one of the most durable and consistent veteran starters in the league.
The former 2021 All-Star is coming off four-straight seasons with at least 160 strikeouts through 170 innings.
He'll be bolstering a deep rotation for the Orioles, a team that was looking to make pitching a priority before the start of the season.
