The National Hockey League's fourth annual Frozen Frenzy, where all 32 teams play as part of a 16-game slate, provided a ton of great moments during Tuesday's action!

Devils 5-4 Red Wings

Jack Hughes was one of three players (Jesper Bratt, Alex DeBrincant) to finish with three total points on the night after scoring the game-winning breakaway goal to give the New Jersey Devils an overtime win. It marked his second goal of the season.

DeBrincat scored two of Detroit's goals to bring his season total up to four, the second of which tied the game 4-4 in the third to send it to OT. Meanwhile, teammate Josh Gibson put up over 30 saves (32) for the first time this season.

New Jersey improved to 3-3, with two of their wins now coming in OT. Detroit fell to 1-3-2.

Panthers 7-3 Blue Jackets

The Florida Panthers scored a season-high seven goals thanks to the Tkachuk brothers putting up nine combined points. Brady Tkachuk put up his first career natural hat trick (fourth career hat trick), along with one assist, while Matthew Tkachuk's five assists tied Aleksander Barkov (2019) and Anton Lundell (2022) for the franchise record for the most assists in a single game.

It was the first natural hat trick in NHL history where all three goals were assisted by the goal scorer's brother.

Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Reinart both scored two goals each for the Panthers. Their seven goals are more than the past three games combined (6) and more than double the goal total from their other two wins (3).

Panthers are now 3-2-2; Blue Jackets are 2-3.

Canadiens 4-3 Sabres

Olen Zellweger scored two goals for the Buffalo Sabres, including the one that tied things up in the third period that sent the game into overtime. But it was Montreal Canadiens' Alexandre Texier who scored the shootout game-winner for the Montreal Canadiens.

Montreal outshot Buffalo 38-17 as they improved to 3-2-1 after having won back-to-back shootouts. Buffalo fell to 3-3-1.

Hurricanes 4-2 Capitals

After the Washington Capitals (3-3) got out to a 2-1 lead heading into the third period, the Carolina Hurricanes surged for three goals in the final frame for their sixth straight win after losing the first two of the season as they improved to 6-2.

Andrei Svechnikov put up two goals to bring his season total to six as the Canes outshot the Caps 35-22.

Flyers 3-2 Kraken

The Seattle Kraken (5-2) entered the third period with a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Bobby McMann (3) in the first and Ville Ottavainen (1) in the second.

Christian Dvorak (2) and Trevor Zegras (1) tied it up for the Philadelphia Flyers in the third to send it to OT, but it was Seattle's Bobby McMann who sent home the game-winner during the shootout.

Philly remained the only team in the Eastern Conference without a single win as they fell to 0-5-3 and continue to expand their worst start in franchise history.

Rangers 4-1 Lightning

Alexis Lafreniere scored within the first minute of the game before he scored his second later in the first period that gave the New York Rangers an early 2-0 lead.

Goalie Dylan Garand earned his third win of 2026-2027 with a season-high 25 saves. The Rangers have won six of their last as they move to 6-2, while the Tampa Bay Lightning's four-game win streak ended as they fell to 4-2.

Blues 7-2 Senators

The St. Louis Blues (3-2-1) have now put up 12 combined goals in their past two games, which is more than their first five combined. Pius Suter (3), Jake Neighbours (3), and Mason McTavish (4) had two goals each, while Adam Jiricek scored his first.

The Ottawa Senators (5-2) have now given up at least five goals in each of their two losses all while not scoring more than four goals in each of their wins.

Islanders 3-2 Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks couldn't capitalize on a 4-on-4 to end the game. Kyle Palmieri scored his first two goals of the season, including the tiebreaker in the third period, as the New York Islanders improved to 3-3.

The Isles have yet to have a single winning streak or losing streak this season. Their 38 shots on goal mark a season high.

Blackhawks 5-3 Penguins

Despite being outshot 27-19, a pair of goals each from Teuvo Teravainen (2) and Roman Kantserov (3) led the Blackhawks (2-5) to their second win of the season.

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby scored his first two goals of the season as his team fell to 3-3-1.

Jets 5-2 Wild

Both teams exchanged two goals each in the first period, with Kirill Kaprizov scoring what became the Minnesota Wild's only two goals of the night.

Cole Perfetti scored his second goal of the game for the tiebreaker in the second, followed by the final two goals from Kyle Connor (7) and Cole Koepke (1) in the third.

Winnipeg are now 4-1-1 to start the season without Connor Hellebuyck, while the Wild fell to 4-2-1.

Avalanche 3-2 Stars

The Colorado Avalanche held on to the close win thanks to a pair of Martin Necas (4) goals in the second period, including one on the power play. Roope Hintz (2) tried to get his Dallas Stars back in it with an early goal in the third, but Colorado's defense held them to just three shots on net the entire period.

Colorado improved to 4-2 as Dallas fell to 2-3-1.

Golden Knights 5-2 Predators

Five different players scored a goal each for the Vegas Golden Knights (6-2) in their win over the Nashville Predators (2-2-2).

It was William Karlsson's (2) tiebreaker with under three minutes to go in the second that pushed the Knights ahead in the end as they put up two more in the third to take home their sixth win of the season

Mammoth 5-4 Maple Leafs

Despite having a 6-on-4 at one point before riding a 5-on-4 power play throughout the final minute of the game, the Toronto Maple Leafs couldn't find the net as they fell to 3-3-3-1 on the year.

The Utah Mammoth got out to a 4-1 start before MacKenzie Weegar (2) made it 5-2 with 40 seconds left in the second. John Tavares and rookie Gavin McKenna both scored in the third to pull the Leafs (3-3-1) within one, but the Mammoth prevailed as they improved to 5-2.

All five of their wins have come from scoring four or more goals in each.

Flames 4-2 Ducks

Oilers 4-1 Kings

Bruins 6-3 Sharks
