The Atlanta Falcons picked up the fifth-year option for All-Pro running back Bijan Robinson on Friday, ensuring he's on the team through the end of the 2027 season.

Robinson, 24, is in the final year of his $21.9 ‌million rookie deal and is set to make $1.1 million in base salary (over $6.9 million total) this upcoming season before the fifth-year option worth $11.323 million kicks in the following year.

Robinson led all NFL players with 2,289 scrimmage yards in 2025, now coming off back-to-back seasons with at least 1,400 rushing yards and 10 total touchdowns. He earned First-Team All-Pro status for the first time in his career and placed fourth in Offensive Player of the Year voting, his second time placing in the top five (2023 - his rookie season).

"He is one of the best players at his position, one of the best players in the league," said Falcons General Manager Ian Cunningham.

"There's no shortage in what he can do for the football team on ‌the field," said head coach Kevin Stefanski. "But also the person that he is off the field and what he brings to our locker room, and to the question earlier about culture and being a player-driven culture, he's a driver ‌of that just because of how he attacks each day."

Robinson hasn't missed a game in his three years for the Falcons after the team selected him eighth overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. In that time, he's put up 3,910 rushing yards on 805 attempts (4.9 YPC) with 25 rushing touchdowns, and 1,738 receiving yards on 198 receptions (261 targets) with nine receiving touchdowns.
