McLemore, who didn't address the court, was found guilty on the three charges by a Clackamas County jury on July 3rd.
His eight-years and four month sentence is the mandatory minimum for first-degree rape in Portland, Oregon.
Clackamas County first assistant district attorney Scott Healy released a statement saying, "Many people are often afraid to report this type of conduct for a number of reasons. Hopefully, the victim's strength and courage in this case will give others the fortitude to come forward in circumstances where sexual assault has occurred (...) The sentence the defendant received today should serve as a reminder that this type of conduct will not be tolerated in our community, and that the Clackamas County DA's Office will always work hard to hold offenders accountable and provide justice to victims."
The victim appeared at the sentencing via video and made the following statement, "This has been the longest almost four years of my life. I never imagined that reporting this back in 2021 would lead to such an incredibly difficult and long journey. These last few years have often felt like a weight that I've had to drag behind me, a constant reminder of the trauma that I haven't been able to fully work through because there was no ending in sight. I now understand, on a deep level, why so many victims hesitate or never report what happened to them."
Last week, after the verdict, County District Attorney John Wentworth wanted to make it known to everyone that perpetrators of such heinous acts won't get a pass just because of their celebrity status.
"We recognize there are those who fear individuals with celebrity status or a position of prominence can avoid prosecution," said Wentworth. "Not in Clackamas County. This case demonstrates my office prosecutes criminal acts regardless of the offender’s community status."

The case was presented in front of a grand jury in February 2024, with the victim providing testimony, which led to McLemore's arrest two months later.
Kristen Winemiller, McLemore's attorney, will be asking for a 'second look' process to reevaluate the sentence for a lesser sentence.
McLemore was the seventh overall selection in the 2013 NBA Draft and went on to play for the Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Portland Trailblazers.
He later played for clubs in China, Greece, Spain, and Turkey.
