Dart posted the big announcement on social media.
"Who would have known that a kid who grew up in Utah would find his way to the great state of Mississippi in order to fulfill his college gridiron dreams," wrote Dart. "I really and truly came of age at this great University. ... All of this being said, we have unfinished business. I CAN'T WAIT to put on that #2 Ole Miss jersey for one last ride with my guys before beginning preparation for the 2025 NFL Draft. As always, I promise to leave every ounce of what I've got on that football field one last time for Ole Miss. THANK YOU and Hotty Toddy!"
Dart is coming off his best season since becoming the quarterback at Ole Miss in 2022. He posted a career-high in passing yards (3,875), passing touchdowns (25), and passer rating (177.7).
Across his four years in college between USC (2021) and Ole Miss (2022-2024), Dart wracked up 11,566 passing yards, 77 passing touchdowns, 1,500 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns.
His 10,213 career passing yards at Ole Miss surpassed former NFL Super Bowl-winning quarterback Eli Manning's 10,119. Dart only threw over six interceptions in a season once (27 total) and has never thrown below a 61.0 completion percentage.
Ole Miss (9-3) will take on Duke (9-3) at the Gator Bowl on January 2nd.
