Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill will reportedly miss the remainder of the season with several torn ligaments in addition to a dislocated knee, according to several NFL insiders.

The Dolphins star was carted off the field with an apparent knee injury after catching a 10-yard pass from Tua Tagovailoa in the third quarter of the Dolphins' Monday Night Football game against the New York Jets (27-21 Dolphins win).

His left leg twisted in an unnatural position following a hip-drop tackle from Jets cornerback Malachi Moore, prompting the medical team to rush to Hill's aid.

Hill, who was seen smiling on the cart, left the field with a cast around his leg and was soon diagnosed with a dislocated knee - an injury that often goes paired with ligament damage.

On Tuesday, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that Tyreek Hill tore several ligaments in his left knee, including his anterior cruciate ligament. The 31-year-old Hill will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair the damage, but will miss the remainder of the 2025 NFL season.

Hill, who in 2023 stated that he'd retire after the 2025 NFL season, has been in the league since the 2016 NFL Draft, when the Kansas City Chiefs picked the former West Alabama Tiger in the fifth round. After initially shining as a returner, Hill soon formed a formidable partnership with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, with whom he won Super Bowl LIV in Miami.

The Chiefs traded Hill to the Miami Dolphins in 2022, after which he became the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history by signing a 4-year, $120 million extension. Hill led the NFL in receiving yards in 2023 with 1,799 and receiving touchdowns with 13, but disappointed in 2024 by failing to eclipse 1,000 yards for the first time since the 2019 season, in which he missed four games due to injury.

In his ten seasons in the NFL, Hill has accumulated a total of 11,363 receiving yards and 83 receiving touchdowns, along with 819 rushing yards (7 TDs) and 1,439 returning yards (5 TDs).
